中華醫(yī)學會主辦，中華醫(yī)學會創(chuàng)傷學分會承辦。本刊是全英文高級學術刊物，是中華醫(yī)學會系列雜志之一。主要對外報道我國創(chuàng)傷學及相關學科的成果與進展，全面反映我國創(chuàng)傷醫(yī)學的成就與水平，促進和指導我國創(chuàng)傷學研究的發(fā)展，提高臨床救治水平；同時將國外相應領域進展及動態(tài)介紹給中國讀者。它使中國的創(chuàng)傷醫(yī)學走向世界，使外國讀者了解中國，促使國內(nèi)外創(chuàng)傷醫(yī)學的交流與合作。
