穴義

風(fēng)，風(fēng)邪；門，門戶。
穴居易為風(fēng)邪侵入之處，并善治風(fēng)邪之為病，故被認(rèn)為是風(fēng)邪出入之門戶。

Meaning

Feng, pathogenic wind; men, door.
The point is located where it is easily invaded by pathogenic wind and so is useful in treating diseases caused by pathogenic wind. The point is therefore considered as the door of pathogenic wind.

定位

第二胸椎棘突下，旁開1.5寸。

Location

1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 2nd thoracic vertebra.

主治

① 感冒，頭痛，發(fā)熱，咳嗽；
② 局部治項(xiàng)背酸痛；

Indication

1. cold, headache, fever and cough
2. pain of the nape and back

針法

直刺或向正中線略斜刺0.5-0.8寸。

Method

puncture perpendicularly or obliquely in the direction of the midline 0.5-1cun. Deep puncture upward is prohibited to avoid medulla injury.
