穴義

合，結(jié)合；谷，山谷。
穴在第一、二掌骨之間，局部隉山谷樣凹陷。

Meaning

He, junction; gu, valley.
This point is between the 1st and the 2nd metacarpal bones, location of the point is depressed as a valley.

定位

手背，第一、二掌骨之間，約當(dāng)?shù)诙�掌骨橈�?cè)中點(diǎn)。

Location

On the dorsum of the hand, midway between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, approximately in the middle of the 2nd metacarpal bone on the radial side.

主治

（1)頭面五官病的要穴，特別對(duì)牙痛，有較好的止痛效果。
（2)有較好的全身鎮(zhèn)痛作用。
（3)降血壓，用治高血壓病。
（4)退熱，用治發(fā)熱無(wú)汗，對(duì)感冒發(fā)熱效果較好。
（5)對(duì)汗液分泌有雙向調(diào)節(jié)作用，即無(wú)汗能汗，多汗能止。
（6)催產(chǎn)。
（7)上肢酸痛或麻痹，特別對(duì)手的運(yùn)動(dòng)障礙，有較好效果。

Indication

(1) main point for diseases of the head, face and the five sense organs, especially good for toothache.
(2) relieving the pains of the whole body.
(3) lowering the blood pressure.
(4) relieving fever or cold, good for fever without sweating.
(5) regulating sweating, good for anhidrosis and hidrosis.
(6) good for delayed labour.
(7) good for the ache or numbness of the upper extremities, especially for the disturbances of the hand movement.

Method

(1) puncture perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 cun in the direction of the palm center.
(2) If the disorder is in the thumb, puncture obliquely in the thumb.
(3) pregnant women is prohibited.
